Try to install all updates including all additional updates even though it's not relevant, I had same issue but I installed all updates...

Update the necessary drivers and this should fix the flickering issue

This is 14 inch size, if you need optical drive you will find it on 15.6 inch

I rang OW they cannot match the price if both price are equal $99, rang one of the stores as well in Melbourne and they said same thing.
