About OzBargain
Welcome to OzBargain!
Our goal is simple — bringing the best deals and bargains in Australia to consumers. Too ambitious? Surely it is! Therefore we need your help. Instead of finding all the great bargains ourselves, you, one of the best bargain hunters in the land of Down Under, can bring in your hottest findings and share with the rest of us.
The Ozbargain Community - Who is OzBargain?
OzBargain is you, the community of on-line shoppers in Australia. This is the place where we share the best bargains in Australia and share them with each other.
OzBargain is developed by scotty, a Sydney based software programmer, and with help from a small team of moderators.
Signing up to OzBargain
How does it work?

2. [[Submit | http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/submit ]] new bargain.

From June 2009, we have had to introduce a 24 hour submission ban for new users in order to fight spammers. Please see Deal Sumbissions for more information
Commenting on deals
Please follow a few simple guidelines to make OzBargain a better place for both the bargain hunters and merchants.

What Should Not Be Posted
It might be easier to spell out what should not be posted here. Your “comment” might attract negative votes from OzBargain members and/or getting unpublished if you post the following material.
Duplicate Comments
If your comment is posted twice or more, we will remove all of the duplicates other than the first one.
Personal Attacks
Abuse, name calling and malicious comments directed at a person or a group of people are unacceptable. Disagreements and debates are fine and encouraged but please respect everyone's opinion.
Affiliate Links
Affiliate links are generally not welcomed over here in OzBargain. Not that we do not want you to make money, but instead we already have a very good cashback scheme in place that is partnered with many affiliation networks in Australia. Therefore by using your link, our members might miss out the chance of getting cashback, which makes your deal more expensive!
However, if there is no affiliation network that can provide cashback to our members, i.e. they will have to pay the same amount anyway if they don't click through your link, then the moderators here might turn a blind eye on it. Please make sure that you put enough declaration in your post about the affiliate link.
