Firstly, create an account using the Virgin/Cathay or similar links (Foxtel doesn’t work for me however). You’ll get the $50.

Then, go to the Christmas promotion page, and under the Register for Free section (on the left), enter in the exact same details as the account you just created in the previous step (well, e-mail address and password are the important ones I guess).

You will come across a page which says that that account already exists. Click on the “click here” link to login to your account. Tada - you will see your account with $80 USD.
