        A typical request we raise to big chain supermarket and they have clear price error policy. However don't push the local small business to hard. $2.54 is already a bargain, otherwise you won't jump on it. They are already putting effort to make it right.

    this community has morphed into something really ugly.

    A few years ago, everyone would have been happy as larry that there were 500 cheap sdhc cards for the folks who frequented the deals sections, and would have accepted that not everyone always wins. Everyone has this horrible sense of self entitlement which makes them believe that bargains aren't really bargains unless they personally get one.

    congratulations neggers, you are the reason that 4th placed ribbons are in demand.

      I think they are pissed because of waste of time not out of stock. If they were told up front and saved their time going through all the steps would have been a lot better.

        Exactly, stock wasn't the problem. If i had of known it would take 30 min plus to get a $2 memory card i wouldn't have bothered. Voting neg lets people know there are issues with the deal. There were no negs when i clicked it.

    i don't know why everyone is negging. if you have a few hundred people on a small site like CPL it's bound to be slow. A lot of people got one and just because you didn't get one doesn't mean you need to neg.

      Exactly zelda707 - there seem to be a lot of whingers complaining about not getting the deal, but you know what? I missed out on it too - you snooze, you lose. CPLOnline should have originally said that there were only 100 pieces available. Big lesson learnt for next time CPLOnline!

      It comes from frustration. If it said out of stock when i tried to add to cart, no problem. But being forced to register, fill in 5 slow-load web pages, then get repeated errors, (thinking, "i should not have bothered, but no point quitting now") until finally getting a reciept for 4x what was authorised - people can be a bit more sensitive than normal by the time they see that.

      Good to see CPL is sorting it out properly, unlike DX.

          I disagree, i clicked the deal 10min after it was posted. By the time i had created an account is was probably about 15 min after the deal was posted. Stock levels were not the problem.

          I tried a few times and it failed. I checked back a bit later and the rep had just posed there was still stock and the site was working again. I log back in and i get the same issue and waste more time.

          How is that not worthy of a negative vote? Voting negative lets other know there are issues with the deal. It also takes the deal off the front page.

    Fair play to CPL, they got back to me quickly and already refunded the difference yesterday. They could have refunded the whole lot and not sent me the card but thankfully they're honouring the deal price.
