Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adaptor $32.78 + PH @ Dicksmith ($31.14 via Officeworks Price Match)

100

First post here. I've been a big fan of this Logitech bluetooth adaptor and I just went to my local Officeworks to pick up another unit via price match. It usually retails for $55 at Dick or $48 at Officeworks, so quite a good deal if you're looking to make your home speakers wireless allowing you to play music from your phone etc.

  • I have seen it cheaper at dse in the past

    • Yeah same, I picked it up for less than $30 the other month, but this is cheapest I've seen it since.

  • I got this for $26 last year and its great.

    • Would it still be great at 33

      • No it would be just 'great' (subtle change in voice tone)

Heaps better than the yumcha units off ebay… worthwhile investment if you have a need for such a thing

Alternatively you could also hold out for the Chromecast Audio that would do the same with better quality audio over Wi-Fi, should sell for about $50 when sold in Australia.

        • @Trishool:

          Oooh nice…

Bose bluetooth adaptor is great if u would like top of the range

    • +2

'Bose' and 'top of the range' should never be in the same sentence, unless the words 'isn't anywhere near' is between them.

  • So with this I'll be able to transform a hifi or micro-hifi system to be bluetooth enabled?

    • +1

      Yep.

I hooked one up to our schools audio system so we didn't have enough rely on a 3.5mm input.

It's awesome for PE as I can walk around the gym and start / stop music from my phone (streaming Spotify)

        from my phone (streaming Spotify)

I think you will find that broadcasting your service in this ways is against their terms of agreement. It is for personal use only…

We've had the Spotify inspector come out 7 times this year…

      • Nice. Will have to get 1 then. Thanks.

  • So my Resound Lynx2 hearing aids can connect to my phone via bluetooth. I am wondering whether I could put one of these onto my TV and somehow connect. At the moment with these new very expensive aids all I hear is the refrigerator motor which is 20 ft away

    • It's a receiver

  • I used to pair this with my laptop to my Aktimate Mini. It was fine for music but if I was watching a movie, there would be a difference between video and audio.

  • After messing with my android phone and shairport4w and other so called free Airplay apps, this is like a breath of fresh air. Its fantastic to say the least. Great clarity, sounds superb, am a big fan. Its so simple to pair and use. My phone automatically pairs with this when in range. I have this hooked upto my av receiver and its great. Great buy, get them.

  • Got this last year for $26, worth every penny getting my crankin' old stereo pumping again.
