I'm not interested in the Download Token games that come with the Xbox SSD. (Tomb Raider Definitive + Rise of the Tomb Raider). Is it possible to sell Download Tokens or are they limited to the console? I want to get value with from the deal and want to purchase the console but not for $600 if I can't get value for the download token games. Big limiter on my buy at the moment.

Ok good I'm guessing not for near full value of the physical games though? Noticed Rise Of the Tomb Raider has some decent resale value around $60-70 but are codes only worth half that or are people still willing to pay a decent amount for them? Understand if you might not know but just a rough idea.

Only thing with selling digital codes is your basically trusting the buyer to be a good person since theres no proof or system to verify a code to be good on either end.
Would you buy a secondhand download code off "some guy" for near the price of a sealed copy from a retailer with all of the protections that come with it?

Amusing to see a multinational huge company still isn't using scaling servers or anything. Also they had to shut down internal web services like direct to home from being used in store and their normal website just to set up this promo. They should have just rented a second server to set this up then swapped them today to keep their other services up and running.
true, and its so easy to do with AWS scalable cloud servers. they must be doing things on the cheap.

Xbox One 1TB w/ 8 Games $498. I have this in my cart at the moment, but I'm just feeling its not a great deal and haven't pulled trigger yet. Is it or do you think something better will come along before Xmas?
I think its good offer and IMO you should pull the trigger, also you can buy couple of pre-owned games to improve bundle like NFS-Rivals is for $10, NBA 2k14 is for $5.

4-6 weeks out from Christmas, buyers have a lot of choice and no pressure on them. A week before Christmas, the pressure is on buyers. It's a very, very good deal, especially considering which titles are with it.

I had 3 items in my cart, logged in, within 30 seconds of the site going live. I tried to pay for 30 minutes, being rejected multiple times during the process. After clicking 'Confirm and Pay' 3 times and getting redirected back to the Address section it finally went through, woohoo!
… and gave me an Out of Stock error for the one thing I wanted.

I tried from midnight to buy the xbone deal. Including getting to the cc payment bit and having it time out multiple times. gave up after 45 minutes. Tried again this morning and was successful after the 8:30 restart. Still took about ten minutes.

SO much Fallout 4 Pip Boy rage being direct at EB on Facebook… apparently heaps having it sell out while its in their cart :(
It's a bit atrocious. I've had in their for what must be ninety minutes and only just got to the payment confirmation to see it's out of stock now have to resubmit payment info and hope the other deal isn't gone. Haven't raged on Facebook though (what's the point?)

I know they are pretty good when it comes to PM but at the same time if the deal EB is offering is negotiated so they can offer the pricing JB probably won't be able to match and make any money

Done! To me the SSD Xbox elite was a bit of a steal. I just wanted the console controller so don't care about the Download token games. After resale of the games it should cost me $400-450 for it. Much better (IMO) having a controller that will last and a good console than paying $100 less (all things considered) for half the capacity and a standard controller.
I would have got an extra controller but the Halo special edition that I'm interested in is $81. A pretty average price considering it's been $67-70 on sale before (not through EB but though it was ozgameshop or some other place). Also would've purchased a preowned kinect for $60 but they are sold out… If anyone wants to offload one PM me, I'd happily pay $60 for it.

some awesome deals, took 45 minutes though to get to the payment screen, which then timed out, so I refreshed twice and ended up paying 3 times, ooops. took 10 minutes to get through to customer care who cancelled two of the orders and are refunding two lots of $105 which will take 5-10 days. such fun :P

its crap. i waited up at 11:31 adel time and got onto the site no worries last night.. i put lego star wars the complete saga in my checkout so i can use it in the xbox one via backwards compatibility… then bam.. site down… there was plenty in stock.. now unavailable and ive tried all day. What a joke.
