thanks a million allyroger!been looking for hd video converter software recently, i just installed this and is encoding a hd wmv @66fps on a dual core cpu! also “Automatically Fix Incorrect Video Data” i have a few videos where the download was cutoff early, what a great feature!
I messed about with this at the weekend and it seemed pretty stable and had some good features. HD convertion takes ages on my pentium d but the result was pretty good - I like the choice of hd formats you can get. I am sure that there are better products out there but its free and legal. Haven’t tried the advanced features - not sure how that would work matrix-neo, let us know what you think.
I’ve been really impressed with Oxelon Media Converter (http://www.oxelon.com/media_converter.html) for processing videos including .ts files (no good for AVCHD files though)
Very fast encoder - going from XviD -> Zune (WMV) at steady 224 FPS. I’ll see if the file even works, and if any further transcoding is necessary for the Zune.

EDIT: Created an ASF file instead of WMV when choosing Zune/WMV. No problem, it does MP4 fine but at around 60-80 FPS on my dual-core notebook. Not bad at all, and great for free.
