    Worth mentioning that the microbeads in the Deep Clean Gentle Scrub are awful for the environment, and there are good alternatives on the market so maybe worth a miss if you don't really need it?

      sand works as a microbead. so does salt.

      but then look at how much sand and salt pollute the beaches :(

        The Neutrogena one is neither sand or salt though so not sure what your point is? The plastic microbeads are completely different..

          line 1 - pointing out a natural alternative to crappy plastic micro-abrasives. and the inference, through an understanding of cost by ozbargain members, that sand or salt are super cheap, if not free and they can be used as a micro abrasive. many onsens (hot bath houses) in Japan supply a salt bucket for use as a skin cleanser

          line 2 - a tongue-in-cheek comment - whilst plastic microbeads present a possible pollution problem in water ways, sand and salt are key characteristics of a beach environment. the comment was characterising sand and salt as akin to pollutants such as microbeads, plastic bags, 6 pack rings, plastic bottles, etc that can readily be found on our beaches. it's a statement of absurdity.

          Ah right, totally did not register with me for some reason, totally agree about the salt and sand as good alternatives, also sugar is a good one.
          With the second line, I just thought it was worth a mention since it seems to be under the radar that microbeads are plastic and harmful while with the plastic bottles etc seems to be common knowledge that it's harmful

      You can use the scrub. The wipes are for make up removal according to the product description. So if make up is your thing, of course you can.

      No there's a special reason why this is for women only and it will harm you unless you buy the packet for men. I guess you're gonna believe that if you also believe that they've chosen the right ingredients that do magical things when you clean you skin.

      Magical meaning like soap.
