We're pleased today to announce the official release of the Cashrewards Mobile App for iOS & Android. It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here. The dev team has spent months on its development, integration and testing and we couldn't think of a better place to launch it than right here on OzBargain. All we ask in return is some honest feedback via the comments in this post. Good, bad, indifferent - we want to know. It will help make it an even better product. There will be lots of new features added in future releases including in-store offers, geo-targeting, and app-to-app tracking. Facebook login is currently unavailable but will be included in an upcoming release in December. Offer ends 11:59PM AEDT Nov 16. Thanks for the ongoing support. Enjoy :)

To receive the $2 bonus, you must:

(1) Download the Cashrewards App via the main link in this post.
(2) Log in with your Cashrewards credentials (Facebook login disabled).
(3) Click 'Shop Now' from any store (your acct will be credited within 7 days of the click).

The $2 bonus will appear in your Cashrewards account as approved within 7 days of clicking 'Shop Now' from any store in the App. The $2 bonus is not stackable with any other promos, including TV ads, refer-a-friend, etc (can't be use to tip over the $10 limit for withdrawal).     Hi, love CASHREWARDS and been waiting on an app for a while, just my observation

    Needed mobile data to login and would not login on wifi
    Click on eBay link and went to website and not app

    I realise this may sound greedy, but does this $2 per app only work once per account? I can see benefit in having app in both cell phone and tablets.

    Feedback - the very first business “Adairs”. If you go into that offer and press shop now it takes you to a page saying “Sorry, unfortunately this page is no longer available.” It might be the stores website but nothing worse then being directed to dead links.

    Second feedback is that the widgets aren’t always responsive. I had to press the screen multiple times (on different pages) to get it to load the websites or offers.

    Does this sound right ??

    This app has access to:

    Photos/Media/Files
    Uses one or more of: files on the device such as images, videos, or audio, the device's external storage

    Device ID & call information
    Allows the app to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call

    Think i'll stick to the desktop version!

      You can submit cashback claims within the app and upload receipts. The function won't work without that permission. From my experience on Android 7+, apps will ask you to Allow/Deny that permission when it comes to it.

      The alternative is to deny the permissions in Android settings unless your phone is as old as the hills.

      • Open the Settings App
      • Click/Tap the Apps section
      • Click/Tap CASHREWARDS
      • Click/Tap Permissions
      • Manage the Phone and Storage permissions

    Sounds like you're gonna be tracking my location?
    Currently the app doesn't have location permissions on Android, device ID & call info is bad enough, would prefer it didn't have that one. I'll be uninstalling if permissions escalate.

    Also, I don't see a way to get to favourites as per website. I almost exclusively use my favourite-d stores so quick access would be really helpful.

    edit: On the request payment page, the pop-up keyboard obscures the number entry box (and the keyboard is in alphabet mode, not number mode). [Android]

          If you click shop now within the Cashrewards app it would load an inbuilt browser in that app. It wouldn’t load up the shops seperate app (AFAIK). If you were to open a seperate app then I would say the tracking would be lost.

        I'm overseas at the moment and am getting 403 too - looks like there is geoblocking in place on the CR website - which affects the app too.

    I can’t get the app to go to any stores webpage, it just loops back to the main page with a heading of the store I was trying to go to across the top. Anyone else having this issue?

    I’ve tried force shutting the app, I’ve tried on Wi-Fi and Mobile network. I’m using the iPhone app.

    So far so good. My comments are re: passwords, not sure why passwords don't pop up as they do in chrome? I did get a keepass request, which is good enough I suppose.
    I can't find any settings? I'd like to be able to turn tracking off, notifications etc.. I want control, for this reason I'll probably uninstall.

    This is also the reason I dont use the chrome addon. It plastered crap allover my tabs/searches etc, and can't turn it off. Just want a simple change of color in the icon or something.

    Doesn’t seem to allow me to open the Uber Eats app. I just get a WebKitErrorDomain.

    On a completely tangential note when the app opened and the logo popped up it occurred to me that the cash rewards logo and colours look a like the Comedy Channel logo.

      That's correct. This is because UberEats only works via app-to-app, and this functionality is not yet released. Soon :)

    I don't bother with these apps because of the minimum withdrawals. They should let you do a withdrawal of any amount once a month or even year. One company robbed me of $19.90 years ago because I didn't meet the minimum withdrawal.

    Sorry if I'm mistaken (I'm busy right now and can't be bothered verifying my facts).

    The app is very nice and smooth, with a slight delay in visiting the store. Looks like its got some good potential and love the My Rewards section how tidy it is, the store icons look good which the desktop version does not have.

    In the My Click History, it would be a neat feature to know which version we were using, eg Mobile Ap or Desktop.

    Clicked on Marks and Spencer link, which was great. However it took me to another screen which listed all previous deals offered and then had to click again on the latest deal to get through to their website. Is the second screen necessary? Guess could be good for people wanting to see previous deals??

    I think I would use this app most for ordering ubereats from my phone.

    However when I click through it doesn't go anywhere.

    Is it supposed to open up the app or go through via the webpage?

    I have the same problem as chriise, whatever shop I click Shop now on just takes me to the CR homepage and doesn't appear in my click history.

    Where you need to provide a copy of the invoice can you please edit to allow 2 images? I mostly use my phone and often order confirmations don’t fit on 1 screen shot where the supplier does provide a PDF invoice, or when the time of order is required to verify clicks. Saves going back & forth with customer support to provide additional information
