This is an excellent price as it retails around the $100 mark. I ended up buying it from BIG W, as they price matched Dan Murphy's.

    Wow!! Special buys can be a hit or a miss as they don't have enough stock a lot of the times.

  Already have a manual plastic one like this (cheaper model from memory). Wondering whether to go for one of the automatic models? Can get a consistent level of carbonation that way, at the expense of needing to plug it in though!

      Do any of the powered soda stream machines have option to run off battery or are they all plug in units?

        There is only one powered machine and that's the source power. It only runs by 6.5v adapter.

    The only difference, other than cosmetics, is the way the bottle attaches to the the machine.

    The kmart one is screw in and the aldi is click in. The latter is MUCH more convenient.
