I'd rather go to Coles and buy 2 x powerfeed for $7.60?!

I reckon the Bunnings deal shouldn't be the headline here…

    • agree just get the seasol at coles this week as its half price

    • Different combination

  • Yeah what’s the difference between them

    • One is a liquid fertilizer and the other a soil conditioner. I'm sure someone else can give a better answer.

        pretty much this.
Seasol is supposed to improve the condition of your plant, PowerFeed is a fertiliser.

Up until a week ago I thought Seasol was a fertiliser but that's not the case. I was told (at Bunnings) that Seasol is really for when plants are stressed due to weather or newly planting, but if you want to fertilise then get PowerFeed, Dynamic Lifter, blood and bone, etc.
I ended up getting Charlie Carp for a liquid fertiliser over PowerFeed. It was cheaper and had a higher concentrate of nutrients.

  • Any suggestion for a lawn that has been feeling the pinch after some Melbourne Heat and is looking a bit brown…? Just water? Anything else?

    • Scotts lawn builder with wetting agent would help given the warm weather. Basically any wetting agent will do, try and avoid fertilizers with heaps of nitrogen this time of year as it's very easy to burn the grass.

      • Lawns fertlisers are all very high in urea=nitrogen, the one that promotes many leaves and very green

      • I'd second this, especially if you are looking for some quick results.
Granulated wetting agents aren't very good, look at a liquid one. If you have the time spray down a liquid wetting agent then the fertilser followed up with a good watering.

Powerfeed mixed with molasses. Yes.. Molasses. It's like kids that drank too much red cordial! It's like a sugar high for plants. lol

    • Recommend joining the Australian Lawn Fanatics Facebook page if you have an account. Great bunch of people.

Is this good for marinating chicken??

    • Yes. But it will taste terrible and possibly kill you.

      • eating plant food will put you into the ground with them.

I was wondering if all those dead fish were going to cause a discount like this

  • Best for your vegetables and plants around the house is Powerfeed Dynamic Fertilizer and Soil Conditioner in the green container….it's a concentrate that you dilute with water. My go-to for many years now.

    • How often do you apply Powerfeed to your veges?

    • So not this power feed?
