But is it a genuine SZROBOY?

  • +4

Look like a cheap ŚZROBOŸ clone.

I've got similar model the EU plug doesn't lock without force compared to the lencent. I would stay clear of this adaptor

  • Looks very similar to the HEYMIX one I purchased last week - just a different colour

    • How's that one? I cancelled my order because ozbargainers warned of fire danger with heymix products.

Mine came so poorly sealed that the electronics in the middle were visible. No more Heymix for me

        • Don't lose any sleep. After a few days of usage, they normally end up presenting the same way once all the decorative plastic melts away…

  • Will these work with the different voltages? Going to travel to US soon and will need to charge laptop and phone. Don't want to fry my devices and know very little on the topic

    • Best way is just to plug them in and if you don't hear a pop, you're good.

Phones and laptops are dual voltage, so you don't need to worry.

    • I clicked the link and read the basic product description for you:

AC power rating: 6A max. 100-240V ac
      Socket Output: AC 100-240V-Max6A

These “pseudo-brands” on Amazon are starting to get ridiculous. Their business model is to offer inexpensive options in categories where consumers don’t have much brand loyalty. Since people are simply looking for the least expensive, highest-rated item, the brand name doesn’t matter.

Apparently, some of these entities do trademark the name and using something obscure (and random?) makes the process that much quicker:

  • The power delivery on this thing is peanut trash, I was charging one iphoneX and one 10k powerbank overnight like 8-10 hours. Half full, it’s slow as turtle.

Turtles are pretty fast in water though.

    • There's no power delivery.

Just standard USB charging with a max of 5V/3.4A between the four ports.

    • Super charges my oppo with 80w charger but yeah, stand alone it struggles a bit

      • Do you have any good aftermarket cables that support supervooc 2.0?

  • Any good brands?

  • From the image, I initially thought is was a fidget toy. :)

  • I bought one of these in 2019 and used it on a few trips to Singapore and Philippines. Its not the sturdiest, but it works and hasn't caught fire.

  • Thought this was a toaster
