It's getting close… $190 delivered was the last price I got from the USA for this model.

    •

That is better than the last two US deals posted here. Where was that from?

      •

Can't remember, it was part of a ozbargain deal. Buy 2 each is $190 delivered.

Bought it with someone, to get that cheaper discount.

        •

gotcha, yeah that makes more sense.

        •

My friend got it couple months back around 200 with delivery from amazon, this is a good price though. Thumbs up.

        •

i thought people were getting it for $182AUD in group buys? (the time the price was $170USD at B&H)

i got mine (in person) from B&H for around $184USD i think (which included crappy 9% New York tax!!!), and i thought people were getting it delivered for roughly the same price ($182AUD comes to mind).

edit: sorry, don't know where i got $182 from…according to other peoples' calculations in comments, looks like roughly $185AUD each ordering 2, $178(AUD?) each ordering 4.

thanks, we can read the words "Australian Stock" in the title…

please also be so kind as to refer back to the OP that was posted BY THE REP which also discusses USA stock.

but thanks for clearing that up…i was sure the SSD i bought IN THE USA was australian stock! silly me!

          Both made in china!

Samsung, Sandisk, Kingston & lighton/plextor should be in the next one as there drives are too new of have not sold enough to make the listing.

Either way those numbers for Crucial are fantastic.

        what are the "against" figures?

        • +1 vote

          Quite possibly their previous generation?

        • +1 vote

ah, that would make sense (particularly as the Intel ones in particular used to be known for reliability).

  •

Does crucial have a local warranty return or is it still the USA?

    • +1 vote

This is Australian Stock, so you have a local warranty.

      •

Sorry I was asking does crucial have a place to service (or return) these to service a local warranty?

        • +10 votes

Right sorry. If you have a faulty it would be returned to us to be swapped out. We do what amazon does charge for the new part and send you a replacement with a prepaid return envelope to return the faulty one. Or you send us the faulty stock back and pay fr shipping we either replace or refund the drive and credit you the shipping cost.

        • +2 votes

Not trying to be pedantic or facetious in any way, but are you offering that service for the entire manufacturer's warranty period (3 or 5 years IIRC)?

        • +16 votes

3 years and yes of course we are. We are obligated to anyway and that is the best way to resolve a warranty issue for the customer.

        • +1 vote

          Nice.

          That's impressive.

          Thanks for the info

  •

I think that is a good price for Aussie stock.

Nice price, just ordered a 256GB and Samsung monitor.. Thank's!!

I was also looking at getting a USB 3.0 external enclosure. Doesn't look like you have any but do you?

    • +1 vote

No we don't but we can probably source one, leave it with us.

      •

Ok cool thanks :) Preferbly around the $20-$25 mark :) Can get one locally for $30 though they don't have stock atm. Is $18 from B&H where I was initially going to get the lot from.

        • +1 vote

yeah, i got one of those $18 ones from B&H, works a treat.

would happily buy from these guys for a bit more, given their customer service/warranty above!

you guys should do a bundle with enclosure, cause a lot of people would probably get both!

  •

Can you built it into a ( without guarantee loss) or order as a 7mm version?

    •

You would have to remove the case, we have done it before but you would void the warranty.

  •

    Also, just wondering, stock levels?

    •

      Not many left now…

      •

Just put through my order, thanks :)

  •

    Great price!

  • +1 vote

Excellent price guys, but jesus your mobiles are expensive!

    • +3 votes

True, but the mobiles are all Australia stock. You also have to take into account GST, most of the direct imports drop ship to avoid that. We are currently the cheapest for Australian stock on the S3 though…

  •

Bought one, thanks. Probably going to order one of those USB 3.0 flash keys… what's the delivery time like to somewhere like 4370?

    •

also interested in delivery times!.. I'm hoping i can get all my orders delivered before the weekend as i go on holidays and Fridays my last day in the office. ( delivery location. ) Sydney Metro

      • +3 votes

We just shipped out all of the cheap 8gb's today. Will try to get all these orders out in the next day or so. Depending on where you are you should have them by Friday. If you are in Outer Mongolia it will take longer.

  •

Does it come with a 3.5inch adaptor for the HDD bay?

    • +10 votes

It doesn't but we can throw one in for you if you add a note to your purchase.

      •

        Sweet! Order placed. Thanks.

        •

If anyone else needs an adapter with their order just let us know. We don't have an infinite supply though so first in best dressed.

        •

Oooh! Me please! I'm order #3152. (I couldn't see anywhere to make a note for my purchase… and I even just went through checkout again for a USB 3.0 key too!)

        • +1 vote

          great customer service!

service and warranty like this is what outweighs cheaper international pricing…keep up the good work!

        •

Send us an email please and we will add it on.

        •

Me too for the adapter please ! Order #3245 . Thanks

        •

Same, please send us an email with your order number.

        •

I used the contact us form - is that ok? :O

        •

Totally fine, as long as you gave us the order number. We use email to manage this sort of thing because trying to wade through OZB to figure out who asked for what is a nightmare ;)

  •

Is this sold out? I cannot find it on the site now :s

    •

It is still there for me, are you clicking the link in the deal?

  •

Yeah, clicked through the link. None of the products on the site are visible, it might be the computer I am using. Ill try again when I am home.

    •

try using firefox.. works fine for me!

  •

All good, got my order in :)

    •

Good to hear.. :)~ now we wait for delivery!

  •

Bummer all gone, any chance of similar in the future flingshot or should I be looking amazon again?

    • +3 votes

We will definitely do our best to get another deal organized soon. We have actually been trying to get the price on the 512GB drives down to a reasonable level.

      •

Great, I am definatley interested in the 256 if you can get them again so am happy to hold out until next time.

        Thanks for letting me know

  •
