dumb question its cordless and runs out of battery .. do go for swim to get it out?

    • yes that's one way.

It should come with a hook header to attach to pool pole to grab it out :)

No reviews. Unknown brand. Seems very risky

    Terrible feedback in these comments

  • OP - do you have any experience/opinions with this cleaner?

  • We just purchased one today - so far so good, it did a great job of picking up the leaves off the bottom of the pool. Will run it again tomorrow and see how it goes. It did come with a hook that goes on the end of the pool stick thing to pull it up at the end.

To turn it on there is no switch, you just charge it then submerge it in the pool and off it goes automatically. I pulled it out before it ran out of power and it stopped once pulled out of the water.

One thing that was an issue was plugging in the charging cable is tricky and took some force.

Now I just want get a solar skimmer robot for the surface in the black friday sales.

    • Hi @bindis

Thanks for the first review… please let us now how you go for subsequent runs. Just looking for something very simple as we have a small pool. TIA !

  • I'm very new to this pool business. How does the Bunnings one compare to this one? Specs seem similar, the Bunnings one seems to have a longer run time but the Poolbot has 2 years warranty.

    https://robotmylife.com.au/product/poolbot-a100-cordless-rob…

@bindis which solar skimmer robot? first I've heard of such a thing.

    • Also new, seems that filter spec and suction spec are best indication of performance to expect. Bunnings one has 50um filter vs 180um for Poolbot (smaller is better to capture fine particles). Poolbot gives suction power of 90W but I can't find this spec for Bunnings, which might means it's not good

  • Can any advise on the following:

    1. Applicable pool type is ceramic tile, steel, polymer and resin.

Is a fibreglass pool considered polymer or resin?

    1. Anyone have any idea what the RRP is on this? It says Black Friday sale but wondering if this is just the RRP as it looks new to Bunnings.

    Thanks!

Looks like a similar model, battery caught fire in pool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlqeHIhjj40

    • Oof, wish i saw that before i bought it! Ill be sure to store it outside the house just in case!

  • This is the same as the Aquafysh Elf pool cleaner, but blue colour.

Lots of reviews stating it only lasts 6 to 8 months, but having said that, I bought one. It has a 12 month warranty and being purchased from bunnings, returns are simple, so i thought I'd give it a go. So long as it lasts the summer pool season I'll be happy, then return it if it fails. They normally sell (advertised) for US $599 (900 odd AUD) But often on sale for US$399 (600 odd AUD).
