  • Good deal OP. Thanks, I will buy what I need

    • +1

      Me too. I need 850.

Six piece set for $8 as well. Not as much bang for your buck as the 1.7L but gives some different size options including bigger 2.3 L and 2.7L tubs.

    4L $2.50

    • +2

Thanks for sharing. Bought this set + 4 of the 1.7L ones. Delivered free with my half-price OnePass membership, love it.

      • +1

Love OnePass for the free delivery for small orders.

    • Looks like a good set. Added a 1.7L to this and my cupboards might finally be organised for once.

Might start my own Tupperware pyramid marketing scheme with this

    • Just missing the red lids

  • +5

    Extremely bad quality lids.

    • I have had opposite thoughts with these, they win hands down over all the other container options at kmar, even the more expensive fancier fastening method ones. These lids get a bit bendy and warped if you wash them a lot but they still fit snugly over the container. Curious to know what happened with yours? I don't want to buy more if I ws just lucky with this batch lol

      • I bought a visually identical set from Bunnings (but with white lids) a few years back for baking stuff and they still work fine. Also have an older one with a black lid from goodness knows where that still does the job. I don't know if they are the same design but with different material and manufacturing standards, though.

    • +5

Agreed. Bought 6 of these containers a few months ago. All 6 lids have cracked

      • Ditto

      • +2

I had one of those and my lid cracked too

    • +1

Yes, lids don't seal as well as other brands. Ended up using for dry cat food. Then later upgraded to another brand and binned it.
For $1 they are OK, better than nothing.

    • Same experience…
Now I just use Ikea 365, it's easy to replace and fairly interchangeable

  • Do these leave a plasticky taste in the food? Thinking to put home-baked granola in but maybe better off finding glass storage to keep the taste?

    • I'd only put things in these that you're going to cook anyway, eg (raw) rice.

    • Get some Sistema Tristan Ultra for your granola, wait when they're half price in Woolies or on Amazon. Lighter and more convenient to handle than glass. Won't affect the taste of food.

  • Thanks. Got 2 for my rice and oat.

Anyone use these as 3d printer filament storage?

    • No, that's what Samla is for

      • I like sistema 5.5L tubs for filament storage and printing personally.

I haven't used samla, but it doesn't look like they have as air-tight of a seal.

        • That's a neat idea, hadn't considered storing them sideways.

I've got 6 spools in a 45L Samla, just sitting on sets of $5 spool rollers, and printed lid clips to keep it relatively dry

  • Thanks OP, I forked out the $4 for OnePass for free delivery which made it $1.25 each for 20. Time to get that pantry sorted!

  • Bought 5

  • Damn I only ordered 1, but after reading the comments I went to buy more, then saw it says out of stock online. Maybe just my area though (South side Brisbane)

  • Country church charity stores for the win with Tupperware and full dinner sets ect.

  • OOS for me last night but managed to snag max of 2 units today.

  • my online order was cancelled :(

"We're really sorry; we weren't able to source the stock for your order. We've already cancelled your order so we can issue your refund as quickly as possible."

  • OOS , bought the 6 pack mentioned above, thanks OP
