  • Anyone with previous samsung watch experience know if i can use myki on this thing? Google wallet says it would automatically add passes, but cant see my myki. Until victoria does the 21st century thing and use cards instead im stuck with that old thing.

    Still holding hope for a 47mm watch, I filled out the jotform as soon as it was posted

    • I've ordered the 47mm LTE version. Just got off a live chat where the rep confirmed I'm eligible for the watch. Rep can only confirm and cannot provide ETA. I was told to keep an eye for the information from courier.

      EDIT: I ordered my phone from Education store.

  • Idiots at Asurion still havent processed my trade in despite it arriving there on 21 Feb. Now they are threatening to charge me. Ive left a note for them. Any ideas on how i can escalate?

      Mine took 6 days to be 'received' after being actually delivered. Then in 36 hours it was asssesed and approved. I also had the warning email whilst awaiting them to catch up.

  • So I've been on Samsung Chat to check if I won a Galaxy Watch via the Jot form. They took my order number then after a few minutes gave the following advice (copied exactly from the transcript):

    Hi! I am happy to tell you that you are one of the customers who the free galaxy watch! Congratulations!
    And to inform you that you can claim your free watch 60 days upon receiving your new phone. You will receive a notification for the redemption.
    Please kindly anticipate to wait for the notification on how you can redeem the prize.

    I asked for clarification, but follow up messages were no clearer. This seems completely different to everybody else, who just have watches turn up as parcel deliveries. Have any of you received a notification and then had to go through a redemption process?

    • After a long hassle, I received a refund. Here's the quick solution: the issue was resolved after I emailed the CEO.

In the meantime I'll list my phone on Marketplace and see if I can sell it. I assume you can cancel the request before it gets actioned….

    Sold the Watch6 Classic for $400. In the end it only cost me $180 and trading in my S22U for a S24U, FE buds and clear case. Very good deal.

But i have been confirmed that i am in 500 list… but i am not hopeful that i will get watch as i received my whole order on 2nd of feb but in samsung system it's still stuck on shipping status for that reason i am unable to get samsung care plus and i haven't received rewards points too. Despite contacting so many times to samsung it seems like support is useless… in the end i am 50/50 about watch..

    Update on accessories

    I finally got the refund from Samsung, got my phone on 29th Jan.

    I lodged a chargeback last week with ING and out of nowhere, I got an email from Samsung yesterday about the refund even though my last email to Samsung was that no one is helping me and the reply I got was to speak to ecommerce chat or phone even though I did 3 times and no one can give me an answer.

    I don't know if the chargeback activated something for a rep to process it.

      • Prob just lodge the chargeback now….. ING takes 45+ days to look and process it. Might as well start it now.

        • Finally got refunded . Order completed 14th feb. Refund initiated 9/3.

    • I've been trying to sort my refund out too Samsung have been useless after at least contacting them no less than 10 times.

      I might have to do the chargeback too.

      That said I did get an email to send my old phone in now so something might be happening on their end. My other order got that email as soon as I got the phone. The one with the cancelled items seemed to have an update error or something.

      • Not well organised from Samsung. You don't receive any confirmation email after submitted the form which also made the whole thing difficult. Hope someone who had experience in the past can share their experience.

        • Did you get any confirmation by Samsung chat agent that you are a winner? It has been weeks since I got that confirmation but no one can provide any more details.
          Asked me to email [email protected] for further details which I have yet to have a response for two weeks.

            However, someone from Samsung Promo just called to say I am a winner but the reason why it hasnt been sent is because the band is out of stock. Gave me a few options on different colours and it should be sent out soon - happy days!!!!

          • @moneytomyway: Hello, same here chose 47 mm LTE, no confirmation spoke to 3 agents and they couldn't confirm if I won or not. I was told to email [email protected] and another agent gave me a 1300 number to promotions team., no reply from the email. I just received a call from 02 8293 5712 (comes up as samsung australia on smart ID), agent told me I was an eligible winner and to choose the colour of the band to receive with my watch (5 options, but I couldn't hear much of it due to the thick accent). Hope you get a call soon

              @Aemit: Not sure, I just looked at the website when she gave me the colour options and they matched with what she described.
              She said "apricot" and "mint" and those colours are only available in sports band.
              I would likely just get another band if it turns out weird lol

  • Just received a call from samsung for watch 6. She asked me email and mobile number. She gave me 3 color option mint,purple, sapphire for watch 6 never heard of these colors…
