  • Why can't you include a link for a PDF? http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/auburn.pdf

Incidentally, they're at all the clearance branches (Clayton VIC, Auburn NSW, Slackscreek QLD, Adelaide SA, Balcatta WA): http://www.msy.com.au/clearance.jsp

    • thats weird, my browser opens the pdf (doesnt provide a link) and then sets me back to the homepage lol. Ah well at least now we have a link lol! thanks :P

        Right-click, copy shortcut/link address.

Lol wtf, why did I get negged for that?

  • +4

It's been at that price for the last few weeks

    • +3

Ditto, bought 1 at this price 3.5 weeks ago.

  • +1

Think that price is regular price. Saw it for around $95 a few weeks ago. The Samsung 840 is out now to replace it.

    • +2

No the samsung 840 is inferior to the samsung 830, its the 840 pro that replaces the 830.

      • Pretty sure most stores are getting rid of the 830's and replacing it with the 840's instead, that why its on clearance.

    • From the feedback, 840 has some problems now without reaching a stable state for its firmware

      • +1

Pretty sure that was fixed awhile ago.. Hope so anyway - running off an 840 right now! lol

      • +1

The problems reported were caused by pre-release firmware. It has been confirmed that the retail firmware fixes the issues.

        • +1

I believe the 840 is still slower than the 830 though.

        • +1

Only on writes, and not by much. 830 stock at MSY is beginning to dry up, so if you want one get in quick.

    • 840 is not a replacement, it's a 'pro' model, which is absolutely unnecessary.

  • +2

That's roughly $2 cheaper than the standard price for the 830 128GB SSD.
