BRAINWAVZ HM5 Studio Monitor Headphones - Preorder - Free Fedex Postage - $99.50

40

Highly regarded Headphones - they are actually a clone of the better known Fischer Audio FA-003.
Good bang for your buck!
Good accessories included as well as a decent hard case and 1 year warranty.
Preorder deal but if you dont mind waiting a couple of weeks or so then its a great price!

I paired up my order with the recently released FiiO E12 headphone amp to drive them properly!
Great deal at $209 for both posted!
Enjoy.

These are excellent headphones. Very neutral with a wide soundstage, and lots of detail and clarity. Just so people are aware, there are many rebrands of this headphone. In fact, we have a Jaycar variant, from Digitech:

    http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AA2065&CATID=85&…

$78.95. The difference is the branding (which I removed with a thin knife), and package contents. Ours comes with just the long cable, while this version have a shorter one too.

Not sure on Jaycar stock levels however..

Oh, and just so people know, these are quite easily driven without an amp, even given the impedance. Benefits aside, these will be fine by themselves on a iPod or tablet, computer etc.

They are $99. Only $78.95 if you buy 10+. Still Cheaper at Jaycar, and you dont have to wait if you can make it to a store.

      • Oh sorry, I'll edit. That's what price they were when I bought them.

Anyway, my comments still stand theses are wonderful headphones. Some great bang for the buck.

        Edit: I can't edit.

    • They can be driven with an ipod, but almost all cans need a proper source to sound near their best.
The reason they are more suited to low powered devices is they are mostly bassless.

  • The E12 is $129.50 for me. Where'd you get it for cheaper?

    • addicted2audio $129 cheaper and faster shipment

    • Its $109 when bundled with the headphones.

      • ah sorry my bad :) did not notice the bundle's price

  • I own these and don't listen to them. No bass.
Thats not to say they're not good, they are pretty accurate, not fun amounts of bass.
Probably great for acoustic, etc, not good for most modern pop, electro, rock, et (IMO).
Loving my Uptowns right now even tho less accurate.

  • Ordered a paid the day the email arrived. Hopefully it actually ships after the 8th.
