Bought from Sony directly, with welcome voucher + birthday voucher Amex Cashback got them for the same $579 price.

    • How $579?
      Amex cashback is $50
Sony welcome voucher is capped at $50
      So it should cost $600

Signed up and got a birthday voucher of $20. Birthday voucher is sent one week before your registered birthday and can be stacked with the welcome voucher

  • Does direct import mean OW price match is not possible?

    • +5

No, and warranty is covered by Kogan, so I would personally avoid it.

      • +2

Kogan warranty effectively means no warranty.

  • I wouldn't bother with these until they are under $500.
Using the Sennheiser momentum 4 now, pretty good for $260.

  • Unless miles ahead than the Px7s2e (or anything close to the B&W), it's very expensive.

      Px7 S3 would be a better comparison

      • The s3 is not significantly better for a huge premium as well. s2e is sub $400, which the SQ out of the box alone is miles ahead of the xm5.

I have the s2e and wouldn't bother with s3 on the marginal difference.

Missed out on the Px8 when it was posted here, but sound profile is probably not as suited to my genre of music than the px7 s2e.

I walked in The Good Guys and they sold it to me $600 on the spot. They have been a great pair of headphones.

    • I got mine at 527 at the good guys on backorder

      • Pretty good, should be some commercial deals but no doubt everyone has their minimum sell price from Sony.

$579 at dick smith also (FREE shipping with membership & FREE 14 day trial)

    • Still $79 too much but no one should be paying retail.

  • Lol here we go again, design floor and weak hinge as well:

    • Hopefully an isolated case

      • I like what you did there
