  Hmm the C&C collection updated fo rWindows 7 doesn't look bad. Some I have, some are freeware, but never ended up getting Generals…

      Indeed. The original and generals were the only good ones.

      I never rated red alert. Probably get negged to hell for that opinion.

        I always felt RA was just an annoying clone-churning operation that distracted from developing the engine/gameplay. Wouldn't have minded so much if they at least did bug fixes to the engine for the RA releases.

        Play any 90s Blizzard game today and you can immediately see the difference in how well they were developed and maintained.

        I quite liked RA, it was my very first experience at game modding. Accidently gave the Allied Medium Tanks a nuke launcher that had the same rate of fire as their original gun. About 50 of them firing at the same time nearly gave my computer a heart attack.
