I can see $791 for China Eastern all the way up to September.

For people who is from Melbourne (and don't want to take Vietnam airlines), China Southern has a very similar price for Melbourne-Guangzhou-Seoul return as well.
I go to Seoul every year and I can tell you, this is not a good price at all! I scored 2x return tickets to Seoul for $634/per person last November, flown with China Southern Airlines. In 2011, I paid $ 1000 for return trips with SQ, bought a couple weeks before my departure in October. I'd say $ 800-ish return is a pretty good bargain then again depends on the airlines.
If you could get a return ticket for under $ 600, check and make sure you get a seat, not standing or squating all the way to Seoul!!!

we went in sept last year with air asia $350 rtn pp from Gold Coast! just hubby and I kids free for 1 week. It was so amazing!! It's so clean, so much history and culture, lots of palaces to visit, quaint cafes every where, the night life and clubbing in Hongdae is a must! Gangnam for food and bar hopping! and to top it off, we scored tickets to Psy's free Cyworld concert! we took our chances and just turned up and told them we were from overseas and love Psy. Freakin best concert ever…..My husband only knew 1 song but enjoyed the whole concert.
Why is it that australian radios are not playing Gentleman? It's better than Gangnam Style. 200 mil hits, no 14 on billboards, no 1 mv on itunes. no 1 in 40 countries,so annoying.
