      finally
      some real reviews
      found the same problems with tomtom and garmin so i am not sure where to get a good gps with lifetime maps.
      or a good app which i dont have to update

    There is a tomtom via 220 at target for $30. Just ring up and see if they have any in stock.

        Just ring up tomorrow morning and if they have one in stock ask them to scan it in. You will see.

        I have one reserved for me tomorrow to pick up, he confirmed the price on the phone and said they are walking out the door.

          You were right! I got one from Westfield Doncaster, VIC. They had one more, but I think the sales guy bought one for himself. They also had a navman for $10; I think this was still available when I bought mine. But the tomtom via 220 comes with LIFEtime map upgrades. =D

          Where does it say that it comes with the lifetime map upgrades? I bought one, which had a flyer stuck on the box with information about some upgrade promotion, but that promotion time has already expired and the web address on it didn't have any info. I didn't register it online yet, perhaps that would reveal something more?
