I chef I used to regularly speak to said these knife sharpeners are the worst thing for a knife. Maybe fine for that $3 KMart knife but not for anything of value.
He taught me how to use a sharpening stone, the stone cost less than this sharpener. Takes a little patience but it's probably the better way to go for good knives.
I agree. We have this sharpener and only use it on our shit knives. For those that don't want to take on a stone it seems the analon 3 stage sharpener gets a decent wrap - stone and ceramic - but you're unlikely to get it under 40 dorrar.

why is it called 'Ozitech' but CotD calls it 'Oztitech' everywhere. Fake? Too many occurrences for it to be a typo. The real thing looks pretty good though
