4TB HGST Touro Pro External Hard Drive $209+ Shipping from ITEstate

100

$9.90 shipping by courier in Sydney. Pick up in North Rocks possible.
Currently going for $190 excluding shipping on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/HGST-Touro-External-Drive-0S03503/dp/B… so it seems like a really good local price for what one of my friends say is a hard drive way better than the rest. (I'm personally not sure if it justifies the premium though. Seagate is going for $190 at Dick Smith)

Unfortunately 3% surcharge for credit card which makes 28degrees price protection effectively not free anymore.

Suggest u update the picture to show an actual EXTERNAL drive. ITESTATE appears to have fixed the website pic.

Although the INTERNAl drive is at a good price as well; $229, lower than staticice currently.

    • I'm not sure how to do that, so I'll report.
The picture has always been correct on ITEstate, but OzBargain is picking up a thumbnail from the related products rather than the main product image.

  • Wow … going to wait for Prices for this drives to go down :)

  • Hi guys,

    Before you buy,

Western Digital 4TB exteral is $199 at JBHIFI:

    Edit: $198 at office works

    • As I mentioned in the OP, Seagates are $190 at Dick's too.
Seems to be overall going down. I decided not to buy this time.

  • Worth noting for future reference that the Touro Pro is a 7200 rpm HDD whereas the Seagates and the WDs are 5900 rpm.
