  • I should have added that you need to log in as an RAC member first and then you will see the deal come up when you go to purchase a Wish Card.

  • Is Essential Gift card same as Wish Gift card?
    Are they any different?

  • I am pretty sure you can use the Essentials card in Woolworths only.

    • You can only buy essential stuff such as food with it ie no alcohol, cigarettes …

  • Are the $250 cards wish cards or essentials? When you buy them at the rac centres they are essentials.

Anyone got a member no. they wanna share lol

  • At first I thought this was lame, but then I did the maths:
You pay $237.50 for $250+$10 vouchers. That is roughly a 8.9% discount (nearly double the usual discount of 5%).

Still though — it is a "Essentials Gift Card" so it has further restrictions…

You can easily spend the $10 essential card at woolie or bigw with their over onflated prices.

  • Daveaus, you must purchase the Wish cards (they are not Essentials cards) online. I have bought Wish cards here in RAC shops in WA, not sure what it might be like in other states.

WaywardOne, although the cards the RAC will issue you on this deal must be used by June 10, you can use them to make any Woolworths purchases. Of course I would prefer the free cards to be Wish ones but it is still not a bad deal (8.9% discount is not to be sneezed at!).

  • Hi OP, i have bought gift cards from servixe centres before but not online. You ever order online and did they just put the cards in an envelope and leave it i your mail box or has to be signed by the recipient?

  • Hi Wtfnodeal, I receive them frequently by post, I normally order online every 1 or 2 weeks. They put them in an envelope and you collect them from your mailbox. Recipient doesn't sign. RAC are very quick in WA at sending the cards out. I normally order on a Sunday evening and I get them on Tuesday. There is no charge for posting and I have never had any problems receiving them. I have doubled up on my order this time and I think I might put another double order in the next day or so (should be able to). Hope this helps.

    • just feel a bit strange to leave a few hundred dollars worth of cards in the mail box. But thanks for letting me know anyway.

  • Hi z28, terms and conditions on the cards say no alcohol or cigarettes but they never check in my opinion at the counter. The Wish card can be used at Dan Murphys.
