        Amazing how few people know that the whole of mathematics, including the concept of multiplication, comes from arabic, hence we use their numbers, rather than our own latin (roman) ones despite otherwise using a latin alphabet.
        We owe most of modern science to Islaam, thanks to the dark ages the people who called themselves christians back then created.

  By the way, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 are the Arabic numbers.

    they are both forms of arabic numbers.

    Top is western Arabic, Bottom is Eastern Arabic. No idea where you got india, apart if you are thinking of the hindu-arabic alphabet.
