You dont have to register for GST if your turnover is below a certain threshold,

not being registered doesnt necessarily mean this is dodgy,

        • So what's going on here? Is there a proper warranty provided by Western Digital? Don't wanna end up with no warranty at all if the "Western Digital 2TB My Passport USB 3.0/2.0 Portable HDD OEM" plays up in the near future.

Rep is online so can you confirm this??? No confirmation means no purchase.

        • +1

You don't need to register for GST if your income is below $75k or something like that.

The tax receipt should still be legit for you if you're claiming it back.

For me it's a matter of do I want to buy it from a guy running a home business, but is local, or a store I trust much more (Amazon) but are in another country… It's tough to weigh the two options.

If you are charging people GST then you need to be registered for it.

  • Anyone know if the Logitech keyboard thingo can be used successfully with a Samsung Tab 2 10.1?

  • Just reviews some past posts about this guy.

someone complains about slow change of order status

  • Ordered an external hd end of april, still undelivered to this day. Order no 11033.

  • From ATO website

If you are not registered or required to be registered for GST, you do not include GST in the price of your sales and you cannot claim credits for any GST included in the price of your purchases, even if they are for your business. But if you can claim the business expense as an income tax deduction, you can claim the entire expense, including GST, on your income tax return.

  • Was a bit skeptical reading about the slow orders and no GST thing. But I really wanted the Logitech Ultrathin keyboard, ordered it yesterday with a 50/50 chance of getting the white one which I wanted. Checked status today morning still said pending, 12pm today postman delivers it in an express post bag, and it was the white one I wanted. Looks like my lucky day!!! checked my status online and its still pending haha

    • Forgot to mention no GST no tax, who cares it was a bargain, and arrived at my doorstep in less than 24hours

      • Why then is he charging GST at checkout?

        • I bought the logitech keyboard, his not selling them any more he probably only had a few units so sold them off at a cheap price with no GST. Looks like he is charging GST for all the external hard drives.

        • He's not allowed to charge GST because he is not registered for GST.

However if he was registered for GST he would have to charge GST on all items which qualify for GST.

  • Good luck guys if you can get your order delivered before a month.
