Think they only have a white colour for that model.

They have it for $549.00 on their website. Am I missing something??

    • Yes, OP states: "The website doesnt update properly but its valid. They have it in their catalogue in store too."

      • Their website almost always updates a day later. its called the Harvey Norman effect… late with everything

  • Please upload the receipt. just in case !

  • Any deals on DC44 DC35?

  • Anyone know when this deal ends? Thinking of grabbing one of the weekend.

Checked with staff. Deal does not start till 21/05/2013 ( ends 02/06/2013)

Google Shopping also shows $398: https://www.google.com.au/shopping/product/61740070408049000…

But when you get to HN website, it still displays as $549.

  • Thank you OP, I have been searching for this model under $400 for 12 months!!!!!
Just collected one from my local store.

  • I called HN at QV and was told its not showing that price in the system, that it maybe cause the new catalogue hasn't started yet.

  • For anybody who has or has seen the latest catalogue, are there any other Dyson vacuums on sale? Specifically I am waiting for the handheld DC35 or DC44 to come on sale.

    • I'm also interested to know this…

Can anyone confirm the stores where this has been purchased. Went into QV where they mentioned the call from greenlantern but still had no idea. I also called my local store Maribnong and one I'll be near on the weekend, Frankston and they had no idea either. Been waiting for this price since I missed out on Boxing Day!

    • Just bought one at HN Maroochydore QLD. A guy I talked to said it showed $549 on their system, but confirmed it was $398 when I mentioned a catalogue. When I picked up mine, they had put a $398 price tag on the display item.

  • how does this machine compare to dc39 animal? is there much difference?

    • I think the animal models come with a turbo head, meaning rotating brushes, so would pick up more hairs from carpets.

      • Thanks for the info :)

  • I got one yesterday an HN Knox. It was the last one.
It had a sign up near it saying $398.
In the system it came up as $549 and the girl wanted to charge me that. I had to show her the sign!
Now I'm wondering if I should get the turbine head attachment. Anyone know the cheapest place to get this? $129 RRP seems a bit steep.

  • Thanks for the heads up; picked up one yesterday from HN Asply. Still said $549 but asked an attendant who confirmed the sale starting 21st & let me have it early.

  • I can confirm this price is real, walked into HN Cannington WA yesterday and they had it stickered on the display set. After negotiation the saleslady was not willing to give a discount on this model but could give a slight discount on the DC39. Decided to go with this anyway, only white available though. Not sure of remaining stock levels but didn't have reason to believe it was low, spotted another customer buying the same model during checkout.

  • Once the sale is in the catalogue I'm hoping to get a saleperson at Masters to do a 10% price beat. Their guarantee doesn't apply to appliances, but some people have gotten lucky. We're renovating at the moment too and I might throw that in casually and see how I go.

Anyone know of other stores that'd do a price beat on vacuum cleaners?

  • Their website has been updated with the sale price!

  • Bought it for $390 at Harvey Norman too. Try it on carpet and it did it job very well. Never know my carpet contain so much dust and hair before. Used to use cheapo vacuum cleaner before and it's really make differ.

However, when I tried on floor tile. It's creating a loud noise while it suck the dust and it's not that smooth compare with carpet.

Very happy with the purchase. Thanks

  • Got it from tgg for $390 as well and paid using last year 20% off giftcards … thanks guys for the info

  • The good guys also do $2 delivery for small household appliances including vacuums for those who don't have a car/would like the convenience of home delivery.

  • Awesome! Thanks OP, I've been waiting for this.
