  This won't carry the Australian Safety Approval. Not that its going to be any different to a helmet sold locally. But should you have an accident this might be a sticking point for any insurance cover. Same applies to motorcycle helmets sadly (where they can be 100% more expensive here).

  I was going to say the same thing also.

  However I do have this helmet, bought locally, and it's a great helmet!! And I paid a lot more for it. Things like helmets should be bought within Australia though.

  Time for a rant, Aust standards… Sometimes a waste, why not regulate banks instead. Okay to buy the bike overseas, like European standards are so different
