Superb on-ear headphones with detachable 3-button and 1-button mic cables. Metal construction, natural noise isolation, award-winning sound and comes with an exoskeleton hard carry case. These are pretty well regarded for balanced sound.

This deal is similar to the one in white posted last week but is in the much nicer looking (IMHO) red/black colour. A few posters didn't like the white colour so here's your chance! The Black version is still $150.48 + Delivery.

Lowest price ever on CamelCamelCamel! Works out to be $132.85 on Amazon with $12.97 shipping to Melbourne - total $145.82.

Cheapest on Staticice is $199.

Lots of good reviews on Amazon too!

  • do you think you can use the 3button cable with windows phone lumia 820 for example to talk via mic and adjust volume? - skip tracks is fine if not working

    • Product page here says that there are 2 cables supplied - a 3 button cable for Apple devices, and a 1 button cable for Android and Windows phone. .

Not sure whether the 3 button cable will work fully with windows phone.

  • I got a set (white) last week. Not bad, still testing / enjoying.

If you want sound bang-for-buck, the Philips Uptown's for around $60 are a better set (IMO), but need a recable as the inline vol ctrl is junk. Different cans, small over ears, not same spec, but sound wise on par.

Creative has the Aurvana live for $120 for 2 (inc shipping), great sound, maybe better, not the same build quality / finish / weight, but sound wise is up there.

The True Blood black and red is nice.

    • Awesome, thanks for the lowdown…
