I found this one at Rite Price Port Adelaide a couple of weeks ago. I had been forgetting to post it so here it is. I visited the store an hour ago and the price is still the same.

I have already tried the rice and it is not bad.

      Australia is not known for producing the best quality rice in the world.

        Have had very bad experience with Vietnamese rice, tasteless and hard to swallow. Thailand and Aussie rice are way better. Plus, watch out for the heavy metal pollution issue with the Asian rice.

        Australian grown medium rice is actually extremely good, they are exported all over the world. Japan is a large importer of Australian rice for making Sushi.

        You should try the rice from USA.

      Check for weavels and other lavae laying nasties. Big bags of rice usually end up looking like a worm farm.

    It tastes nice and it is clean. Of course, it is not premium quality but then come on….it is hard to beat that price in some Asian cities as well.

    I am actually thinking of buying another sack this weekend.

      Same, picked up 10kg at Woolies on special. It's medium grain rice though, which apparently according to my mrs (she's asian), it's no good for fly lice. Need long grain for that.

      So we have a 10kg medium grain sunrice which we use for most things, and a small 2kg home brand woolies special long grain for fly lice.

        Any rice will do if you leave it in the fridge overnight!

        Otherwise, yes, medium and some other grains will go gluggy
