If you don't have proof or any explanation, please remove the blackspot and rural areas claim.

VAST is a Govt funded satellite broadcast…..

      http://www.vastdigital.com.au/index.html

    • VAST is the governments platform to give TV to anyone in a blackspot area or rural area via satellite and in fact its actually the same satellite as foxtel. so not many people actually need to put a dish up if there is a foxtel dish there already.

      • Correct but they still need the STB with activated smartcard.

Is this the Xbox One everyone's (not) talking about? Sure looks like it from the pic.

OMG I was thinking the same thing… Is that the Xbox One that Microsoft have made it destined to fail? Amazon UK have reported sales of the WiiU have increased by over 800% (yes eight hundred) since the Xbox One announcement! LOL

    • This is for all the new digital channels via the satellite , if you are in bad signal area then you can pick all the channels up with the dish by simply purcashing a VAST satellite decoder which comes with access card.

  • What channels can I get ?

    • all the new digital channels , if you live in a city you can just use an ordinary antenna, and purchase a normal set top box recorder. People that live in rural areas were this is no transmitter, or people living in blackspot areas need to use a satellite dish - same satellite as type of dish as foxtel, to pickup TV.

This decoder/set top box is needed to access the channels via the dish :)

      Free to air digital

    • Free to air can be received but only if your in an area that qualifies for Vast services. As it requires smart card activated to access the Vast services. Can also be registered for used when travelling around Australia.
