    Not really worth it…..

For about $1 more, you can get 30 alkalines at Bunnings.

  • yes, you are wasting your money. Get this instead http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/104591

  • If it doesn't specifically say alkaline, it's zinc carbon or zinc chloride with shorter shelf life and more possibility of leakage no matter how many heavy super hyper power duty words they add to it.

    Yay, more landfill.

  • this is normal price in bigw/kmart/bunnings etc

  • how much are eneloops that can be recharged and reused 1000 times?

    • Depends on what you use them for, eneloops are 1.2V and these are 1.5V.

Some things just don't work well with 1.2V

  • Can get 10 Alkaline ones from IKEA for $3: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97551 . This is not a deal.

  • this could almost be described as "help us dump chemical waste in Australia"
No deal - go alkalines as a minimum, preferably NiMH.

  • IKEA Alkaline is much much better than other cheap batteries, I almost tried them all. those discount batteries do not have much power left.

typical Con Of The Day scam where they hide the item price within the shipping price to fool idiots into thinking its cheap…….

    no deal…..

    • It's just so that the second or more item you buy has half price shipping. For example free batteries $9 but the second is $4.50.
