Thanks to oj4rec another stand out camera is Sony WX-300 Cyber-Shot Digital Camera $337and also comes with extra battery and charger as a bundle.

So when purchase you should be given two boxes - one with the camera and another with complimentary extras.

FYI,
[Sony WX-300] (http://www.harveynorman.com.au/sony-w-series-20x-optical-zoo…) is actually sold as a bundle with extra battery and a battery charger in another box, which makes a deal even better.
A regular shop assistant will have no idea about it, so you'll need to ask and insist to have another look at back office because that's how they (HN) and Sony Center sell it. So when purchase you should be given two boxes - one with the camera and another with complimentary extras.
