Did a little search online and found a $472 receipt for price match:
      https://www.dropbox.com/s/wu0tesbb8j02ixy/2013-01-09%2016.43…
Good guys refused, but no hassle at HN.

BTW, the Good guys offered me $599 for WF1804WPC ($449 after $150 cash back)

      • That's so cheap!! I paid $549 :(

Edit: Hi OP, that invoice is back in Jan 13, can we ask price match for something sold that long ago?

        • +1

It was successful in my case. I just showed the downloaded receipt in my phone, and the HN staff didn't say anything but Yes.

        • Stunning price! Would you please upload your receipt? I'll try my luck at my local HN tomorrow. Thanks.

        • +1

It Is Out Of Stock In My Local HN And I'm Still Waiting For The Order. Once Having The Receipt, I Will Post It Here.

I've got a $475 receipt if you want ? The bad guys were meant to give me a free delivery when I bought the Samsung fridge the other day and it was meant to be delivered together with the washing machine. But then the next day the free delivery offer was gone so he adjusted the delivery price on it . The only thing is it might take a couple of more days to find my receipt since I moved to another place and still lot of unpacking to do.

        • +2

Hey, would you be able to post the receipt? The other one is too old they said. Thanks.

        • Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for the recent receipt, too..
Hopefully before Samsung cashback is expired.

      • thx mate

      • How much did they charged you for the delivery mate ? I bought the similar model WF1752WPC (same spec except it has a white door) for $500 free delivery from TGG.

        • $50 For delivery, But My Place Is Only 3min From The HN And It Shouldn't Be Too Difficult To Install A Washing Machine I reckon (It's Important To Make It Steady And Balanced). So I Chose To Pickup.

I Specifically Asked For A Chrome Door Which Is $15 More Expensive Than The White Door In The Good Guys.

thats why my wife calls them "the bad guys"

      • Would you be able to post your receipt, as HN said it was too old and said they couldn't price match it.

I have never thought of washing my front door, or back door.. or any other door. And now there is a machine for washing doors? Bu why only the front door?

  • I bought the same one on 27 May, the day they started this cash back. WF1752WPC is a very good front loader. It's the best selling washing machine on appliancesonline http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/top-5-front-load-washing-…

    • I have that same machine. Pretty good so far.

  • Bugger, I've bought it on May 25 :-)

    BTW, bought for 490 + 50 delivery

  • nvm

  • I wonder why there's no cash back on top loaders… it'd be needed for the insurance excess. ;)

  • JB HiFi are selling the WF1752WPC for $516 with free delivery if you don't want to go through the hassle of price matching:

    http://www.jbhifihome.com.au/SAMSUNG-75KG-DIAMOND-DRUM.aspx

    • wow i didn't know JB sells washing machines too. Does free delivery means you'll get free installation as well?

    • It's $566 now :(

  • My machine has been playing up lately, may as well bite the bullet now now while there is a promotion on. Thanks OP !

  • WF1804WPC, this model is showing $150 cashback on the website but on the main product page, it only shows $100. bit weird. Anyway, has anyone bought that recently as I dont want anything smaller than 8kgs. Thanks

    • Copy-paste directly from http://www.samsung.com/au/promotions/home-appliances/washing…

After this time, purchasers of the WF1804WPC washing machine will be eligible to receive a $100 cash back gift card until close of the promotion at 5.00 pm AEST on 31 July 2013 where they have successfully completed the claim process. "

Just want to let everyone know, if your Samsung has a 10+ years guarantee for the drum then there's a likely possibility that it's got a "logger" inside.

If you do a warranty call, a tech will visit you with a laptop and a console cable. If the diagnostics shows that you're over-loading your washing machine, as an example, he/she has been given the right to void your warranty on-the-spot.

    • +4

Does this one have a warranty and logger? Does the machine weigh my clothes for me and let me know if I'm over spec? One can't expect a person to weigh their clothes before washing. This wouldn't stand if raised to accc.

  • Hmm, guess they need some way to convince buyers after they recalled 150000 machines last month.

  • nvm

  • Anyone got a good price on WF756UMSAWQ? It has digital inverter motor and a 0.5 star better energy rating than WF1752WPC.

Last try… does anyone have a recent receipt for the WF1752WPC. Not the 5 month old one. Thank you!

I purchased WF1752WPC with 5 years extended warranty for $480(before cashback) from Harvey Norman Castle Hill.
    Total after cashback:$380
    Here is the receipt:

    • Thanks tp. You're a lifesaver.

    • Wow! Did it take much haggling to get them to include the extended warranty at that price? Think I might try my luck at my local Harvey Norman this afternoon…

    • Stunning Price+warranty. Don't know though, if this warranty is different from ACCC product warranty?

I printed a copy of your receipt and went to HN Castle Hill today. That's what happened,

      1. I waited a bit at the washing machine section and a sales person (didn't know or ask for her name yet) served me.
      2. I asked whether the samsung washing machine is available as there is not displayed but only a A4 page with spec and price ($548) of the machine.
      3. She checked the computer and said that there is no stock atm, but should be restocked around first week of July.
      4. I asked about the extended warranty and delivery. The extended warranty of 60 months costs $90 and delivery is $50.
      5. Then I showed a copy of the receipt to her. She asked where I got it from. I said from a friend. She then asked me what is the name of my friend. I did not answered and instead I asked her again whether she could sell it to me with that price on the invoice. She went into the manager's room and talked with the manager.
      6. She then came out and told me that i. they never sold that samsung washing machine on 6/6/2013. ii. they would not sell washing machine on cash. iii. she could not match the price on the invoice. iv. she said that the invoice is fake and asked me where I got it from. I said I got it online.
      7. As I needed the machine urgently and I didn't want to argue with her. I only asked for her name (Maryann) and I said that I did not believe the invoice is fake. I said I'll post what happened today online and left.

with hindsight, I think she lied to me as I don't think they will definitely sell a $550 washing machine for cash if the customer wants to pay cash. What I think ia that they might have seen this invoice before and don't want to honour the price match (profit margin too low, maybe). I am not familiar with their price match t and c and dont want to wait 2 weeks.

I think I'll go to another HN and ask for a price match again.

I tried the above receipt at Masters, at Ellenbrook WA (Goodguys Osborne Park and Joondalujp said that the price could not be matched, best price $519). At Masters, they would not use the $472, but accepted the $480 receipt (as it was more recent 6/6/13).
So we paid $480 at Masters, and then hired their trailer for $20 to take it home (Delivery using their contractor was nearly $50, so went for trailer). Paid using Woolies gift cards (Wish Cards), which we purchased at RACWA store(RAC members get Woolies gift cards with 5% discount, 2 X $250 cards for $475, $25 saving. I know, we are tight arses).
So ther Samsung WF1752WPC actually cost us $456 (As we got the wish cards with 5% off), then trailer hire of $20 (Paying with Wish cards saved us another 5% there as well). Total cost with trailer hired at the store, delivery to home $475. And we have used the washing machine already, very happy indeed.
If someone wants to use our current receipt for price matching, here it is http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag87/woodvaliens/Samsung…
Note that we had to use two $250 wish cards, as RAC do not sell $500 ones.
I didn't think it would be appreciated to make a new entry for this, so just added it to this old one.

    • Oops, got that calculation wrong, actually cost us $356 after $100 cashback
