  • i have these, from amazon for this price. they are light, comfortable, suits a medium head.
not much sound isolation. so not great for bus/train. but for the price good for bluetooth headset.

I'm actually still deciding on whether to buy this or not

If you haven't used a Bluetooth stereo headset before, it will change the way (and probably amount) of music and podcasts you listen to. You'll most likely make more calls too - its just convenient.

But, these creatives will not be very good at call quality - they are the same as the Motorola S305's I had. They manage to enhance distant sounds somehow. Your callers will say stuff to you like "are you in an birdcage?" when there is a bird that you can only just hear yourself. I dont know why, it just makes every environmental sound exaggerated so absolutely no good if you are intending to use them for work and if you have kids, forged aboud it!

If you're thinking of using this as a combined phonecall headset AND stereo headset, also consider how cumbersome it is to have around your neck inbetween phonecalls. you'll probably pocket dial a few people too, as you move your head and press the call button in error. I only ever used the 'over the head' style for calls in private - id feel too much like a mental walking around with what looks like a music headset and talking to myself, though from a distance, it could look like I'm rocking out to the Black Keys? EDIT: Actually, I rarely walk on the streets with a bluetooth conversation - i guess holding the phone to your ear is the international sign for 'ignore me, if you can' and without that, it just feels/looks weird.

For sound, they are better than the more expensive model.

I use the LG Tone 730 - great for calls, and discrete with it looking like regular earphones. None of the other designs like this have great call quality.

oh, by the way, APTX is what you want for better sound (this one has it)- it has a higher bitrate, meaning less compression, as far as I understand.

    Hope it helps.

    • So how's the sound quality compare to others wired ones? or can you compare with the ones that you have?

      • APTx is very good, especially for mobile usage - its difficult to notice the difference unless your sitting in your quiet comfy armchair.

Plain ol 2.0 is pretty crap.

  • one more important feature for bt headphone, i think is ability to plug in a cable when battery runs out, and continue listening to music. this is based on my own experiences.

  • Seems like a pretty decent deal. I read some reviews and am going to be using it at the gym!

    • well with leather pad contacts with sweat i think its not good in long term.

i really like bluetooth sets but also like v-moda LP

    Anyone used these ones?

They are $10 more, but have a 40mm driver, and can be used wired.
