Maybe the seller thinks the next gen ps/xbox are coming out on Monday (e3) so is dumping everything :P

  Seller gave me feedback when i bought some stuff (x31 headset, black ops 2 hardened, px3, and capture card) so i don't think the account has been hacked and if the account was i don't think the hacker would leave feedback at all.
  
  If he has undervalued the games or stuff then he will ether cancel the order and pay the buyer back in full or the seller will continue the purchase.
  
  I said the same thing when buying the game, headphones and capture card from him but something tells me that this guy is for real.

    Yes the seller has over 150k feedback but.. the most recent listings are most likely a mistake.
    
    Take a look at why the seller has set themself to AWAY and NOW most of the products have changed its price to the proper pricing. I am not confirming as I didn't buy any of them.
    
    If there were things sold then the seller must either Honour the deal or give a Full Refund.
    
    So therefore this post should be marked as EXPIRED as of now.

      I have been keeping an eye on his feedback and from what i have read

    In my experience on ebay thesedays buyers and sellers rotinely pull out of deals and theres nothing u can do about it except feedback.
    Ebay cant care less if u can locate the well hidden contwct methods.
    
    A lot of sellers now use dummy bid accounts to ack up prices
    A lot of buyers use auto ladt mnite snipes to bid which costs sellers $ from naive bidders who would have bid higher.
    
    Gumtree is free but full f tyre kickers - lots of silly questions and buyers who dont turn up..
    
    Defintely a gap in the market for a cheap reliable trading platform.

  Sorry need to point this out and I will prob get negged for it. I am well aware that this guy marked himself as 'away' before this comment essentially killing the deal but the first rule in getting a price error deal is DON'T CONTACT THE SELLER. It brings the issue to their attention (I'm aware the deal was almost dead by then) but if you tell a seller "your prices are too cheap are you trying to scam me?" What are you hoping to achieve?! Worst case scenario your money is tired up in PayPal for a week or 2 this isn't like some foreign website that is not in English and requires you to put credit card details direct.
  
  As said above if it is a scam, then he won't tell you. If it's a price error he will fix it, either way as unethical as it can be to take advantage of a mistake like this, your essentially putting the nail in the coffin by contacting the merchant in any circumstance for a price error deal, just a heads up to anyone who didn't realise that for future reference.

Got a message from the seller saying it wasn't an error, the items were cheap because they were promo stock.

But he also said what I bought is out of stock. I can either have a refund or wait for restock in up to 45 days (beyond Paypal cover period).

I would raise a case after 35-40 days anyway, if its a false alarm you can just agree to close the case. Otherwise you lock in a dispute and are guaranteed an outcome, hopefully a refund

      i reckon their response will be that we've bought 'promo' stock which is still to come in, while their current listings are retail versions. i told them i'd hold out, but will probably ask for a refund at the 35 day mark.

Anyone received their items yet / got any new information?

I bought black ops hardened edition for $20 and got the same message about no stock until 45 days. I've also noticed this:

PayPal Buyer Protection

An item is protected by PayPal Buyer Protection if it meets the following eligibility requirements:
You open the case within 45 days of the PayPal payment and escalate it to a claim if needed within 20 days of opening the case.

They could likely just be waiting out the time and by the time 45 days is over, we won't be able to make a claim about it and will get away without being able to claim money back or give bad feedback.

Can someone clarify with me whether this is correct or not?
