KFC Coupon - $19.95 Cheap as Chips Meal (Excl. QLD) Valid until July 1

550

Looks like all the other KFC coupons have expired or are expiring today, so thought I would share this in case anyone was looking for a deal.

The $19.95 Cheap as Chips meal includes:

  • 8 Pieces Original Recipe Chicken
  • 6 Kentucky Nuggets
  • 2 Large Potato & Gravy
  • 2 Large Chips
  • 2 Dipping Sauces

This is reportedly a saving of $13, so seems like a reasonable offer. Looks to be available everywhere except Queensland. Expires 1st July, 2013.

    Why exclude KFC QLD!!??

    • +3

Not completely sure of the specifics, but I believe they're run by a different franchisor or something like that. KFC QLD generally runs their own offers.

    • +13

Coz they don't need any more fatty food ahead of Origin Game 2

      • -1

If anything, the QLD team needs more of this deal compared to the beef-heads in NSW lol

    • +5

      Flood Levy blowback.

    • Queen's Land, no junkie food today

    • Because one franchisee company own all KFC stores in QLD as QLD KFC master franchisee. They have their own marketing strategy.

  • +2

seems like a good deal. pity it's not available in QLD :(

  • Do you need to print the coupon? or just ask at the Counter?

    • Probably safer to take a printout or show it on your phone, but if you do end up just asking at the counter let us know how it goes :)

      • I always go to my local store and ask for the "cheaps as chips" meal. Done this about ten times and its worked everytime (once, the counter chick did ask me for it and said I should bring it next time).

        • +2

Yeah, some stores are very strict on the coupons, others are not. Don't try to get a coupon meal from the CBD stores without the coupon though (well, at least in Melbourne), they are the only stores I've known to actually take the coupon away from you.

    • +1

Lasttime I drove through in Liverpool and the guy didn't ask for the coupon.

  • +1

Yummmm definitely gonna use it for my hot n spicy fix!!!!

    • do they allow swaps to hot and spicy?

      • My local store doesn't allow it… x_X

      • Not an issue in WA with permanent hot and spicy.. heh heh heh >:)

    • Two of the kfc i go to always allows mix and match

  • KFC queensland have their own coupons, but they never seem as good as the other states.

  • is the 9 for $9.95 deal still going on?!

    • +1

Yes. But only Tuesday. Some stores may not show it on their menu, but you can request for it. As what I always did :)

      • Thanks windows7!
I didn't see it on their menu but I saw it on the TV.
        I shall go tomorrow! cheers

      • Thought that campaign ended over a month ago. Is it back?

      • any one got locations of stores that still do the 9 for 9.95 deal…i know some of the ones Melbourne i tried all terminated the offer.

    • do we need a coupon for this deal you mention boomerpro?

is that chicken pieces only or includes a mix of nuggets?

      cheers

      • +1

        No coupon needed!
All chicken pieces, unlike the 12 for $12 (6 chicken, 6 crispy strips)

        • My local KFC said the $9.95 for 9 was cancelled a while back, and can't be asked for anymore. I guess it depends on the store.

        • I just got accepted the deal today! They even allowed me to get more thigh pieces =P

      • No coupon needed at KFC Menai, just asked for the "Cheap as chips deal" by name.

  • +3

Why discriminate QLD? Just because we won too many State of Origin? Hiccup is nothing.

    • +1

Maybe that's why Qld has won so many Origin matches.. their arteries aren't clogged up

  • +1

the best one i used to have is 10 recipe chicken, 10 wicked wings, 2 large chips , 1 large gravy for 24.95

  • This is cheap? o_O …
This would only feed max 2 ppl

    • +4

      2 fat people?

      • 2 insanely fat people.

The four pieces of chicken each amount to ~45% of a chicken, plus a whole bunch of fried batter. And after that you've got 230g of chips, 60g of nuggets and… wait for it… 450g of potato and gravy mush.

It's deals like this that make me want a really cheap printer deal to come up, as these are the only thing I'd use a printer for.

    • +1

Remember to go laser if you buy a printer. Slightly more expenisve up front (though not by much) but you save a crapload on ink

      • True.. although I'd literally only use it a handful of times a year haha. If I ever need to print anything big I just do it at work, but there may be a week or two where I'm not called into work at all, which makes it a bit hard at times :P

        • Funnily enough, laser is also better for irregular printing. Inkjet's head's might clog up if left idle too long and/or too often.

        • Haha well there you go, laser printer it is!

  • Finally!! Here's the deal for QLD!

  • I put this coupon in my phone and show it to the KFC guy, then I was told he can't do this

    • It's say the bottom there "Surrender coupon to receive offer", so you need to print it out.

      • I think surrendering the phone should work.

        • I just showed the guy this voucher on my phone and he accepted it

  • Oh dear… with deals like this, I don't think my cholesterol will ever recover….

  • +1

Used this today on hot n spicy! Yummmmmm

  • Ugh they wanted the voucher printed at my local.

And then after buying something else I remembered why I hate KFC.

  • Thanks for the voucher. It was $1 more at my store but who cares when I saved much more :)

  • nice bought it
