BIG UPDATE.
Lol! I hope someone gets benefit from this.
I installed all the Windows 7 X64 drivers from the Sager website for the NP8230.
My notebook is running perfectly.
The Sager website also sends you the downloads much faster than 6KB/s, as low as 30KB/s but up to 220KB/s.
All of it was very straight forward apart from:
SoundBlaster X-Fi driver contained 4 different versions, you should use the one marked for the P150.
nVIDIA driver contained 2 versions, use the newer (or higher) version number of the two folders.
I still have to download and install the Airplane Mode driver, it was listed under the Windows 8 section on Sager's website so I didn't remember about it until today.
This notebook is awesome, my configuration was the base model with these changes:
Remove HDD - I have an SSD to put in it (Sandisk Extreme 240GB)
Upgrade to GTX-765M
Upgarde to 95% Gamut Matte display
I played some Borderlands 1 on it last night, graphics on 1080p with all settings to high/on was running avery smoothly.
Mmmm very nice.
