Hi, I just noticed that i missed the deals for a 4060 with the Antec CX200M MATX fishtank-style case, I was wondering if there will be more of them in the future, or if it would be possible to get this one in that case? Thanks

    • +2

We can do at the same price as the current case - I don'thave enough to offer as a perma-upgrade here but if you buy then email [email protected] we can definitely swap it manually.

    • +5

Just fyi, mine just arrived on Monday. Happy with it, but the case fans in the CX200M blocks the only other PCIe slot on the H610 - so if you're like me and were hoping to install a Wifi adapter you're gonna have to remove a case fan or get a USB alternative. Wish I known about it earlier.

  • Any non-F Intel CPU options?

    • +3

No, just F at this pricing and qty

  • +2

Any chance to offer a MB with 4 ram dimms and 2 m.2 slots?
    Thanks

    • Not on B450/H610 available to us no sorry

  • +3

Any chance of an ITX build for EOFY?
Would really love an AMD build in an ITX form factor

    • Think there was ITX week or 2 ago

    • +2

There are no ITX AMD boards anywhere sadly. We have an Intel one coming, i5+4060

      • Will the i5+4060 deal that's coming be in the same Leaper Edge case as previous deals?

        • No, the mini Leaper-I. Edge is sold out and not returning

          • @luketechfast: Hi luke,
Do you know when will the itx machine deal be ready? And will the price for itx deal similar to this one?

    • Also keen for an ITX build also prefer AMD cpu but that doesn’t sound promising.

  • +2

I know I'm an outlier here… But is there any chance for Techfast to make one of these budget machines an AMD CPU/GPU combo?

    • +4

      We're looking at it yep

  • Trying to get the i5 deal for $978 but the code is not applying even after entering in address, different browser - any ideas?

  • You wouldn’t be willing to do me a deal for one without a GPU would ya? That’s the only thing I already have

  • How much to add wifi to the $718 build?

  • +1

    Hi Luke,

is there room in the default case/mobo to later on add a PCI-e wifi adapter if needed?

Also, are all the PSU's modular?

  • Is it possible to get the front panel completely mesh

    • pull off front panel
replace with (large gap) flyscreen and gaffa tape
for added cooling also replace side panels and point pedestal fan at computer

    • +1

No, but also not necessary with these builds - with 6 fans a tonne of air flows through these cases and it's not a hot spec anyway

  • +1

the 4060 ti is about 20% better (more FPS) than the 4060, so the non-ti is BY FAR the best value

    • Comparing the non-Ti vs Ti builds, they're about 20-25% more expensive, so it checks out actually

  • why do most of your builds still use ddr4?

    • Because the that's the platform for AM4 AMD chips. And for pricing equality sake, we use the DDR4 platform for the 12th gen Intel chips. Higher tier builds are on DDR5.

  • Might offend some people but what's the difference in the Intel vs AMD here? Primarily would like to use for emulation and CAD. I assume they're both equally compatible with everything if they're both x86 so why do some people ITT have preference to AMD?

    • There may be some use cases that differ. For example from what I've read, if you have a Plex Media Server and you often use hardware transcoding, Intel CPUs will handle these much better due to QuickSync compared to AMD CPUs.

Edit: Actually… just realised these Intel CPUs are F variants meaning they don't have the iGPU in them therefore no QuickSync function.

  • Small bug I noticed on the first build linked. The specs/dimensions of the default case are shown in the 4th gallery image, however if you switch cases and then go back to the default option that 4th image with the specs is not there and you need to refresh to get it back.

    • Should be fixed I think

      • Yep, looks good now. Honestly felt pretty petty flagging this bug but I was sussing out the dimensions of the cases and it was a bit annoying :D

  • Hi all! this will be my first ever gaming pc. I will be running games like Valorant, League of Legends and Helldivers. Which out of these 4 builds would you recommend?

    • +2

Go for their cheapest option. No idea how these guys are undercutting the entire market. Even used parts aren't this cheap.

  • Hi I have ordered the Intel 4060 build for my girlfriend for her birthday, are these likely to be dispatched fairly quickly or on the later end? Thanks

    • +1

      Closer to 10

  • The 5500 and 4060 ti build states a 750w PSU as standard then a 650w as next option. is this correct or an error thanks

    • Correct, the 650 is bronze rated.

      • So the default PSU is a 750w? As it states 550w in your specs above but 750w on the link

        • Both default PSUs are 750W with the 4060 Ti. When I was writing this out the first time, I had it basically finished then accidentally hit refresh so had to do the whole thing again, hence a few errors

  • What read and write speeds do the SSDs have in these builds?

  • +1

Techfast's price is very competitive than most other gaming pc sellers, I wonder how is that possible?

I am after the review if someone has bought the pc from them please.
    thank you.

    • +1

They probably buy in Bulk, which allows them to buy at a price not available to regular consumers. They would also buy parts that suppliers need to clear stock on, such as the F intel cpu without intergrated graphics. These 200 off ozbargain deals might be done using stock they also have plenty of, which is why it costs so much to make changes to the build, such as upping the PSU or going with more RAM.

I bought from them last month. A bit slow but it was well assembled, well packaged, and in good working order.

  • Has anyone had your order dispatched with this deal? I'm on day 9 (expected 5-10 business days to dispatch) but my order is still in "Order placed" status.

    • Business days are 5 days a week, so you may have to wait longer.

  • Any pictures from glass panel side?

  • Has anyone's PC been posted yet?

  • Any chance I can still get the 4060+i5 deal ?
