      no. offer ended
went to DJ at westfield sydney and they won't give 10% off

      • so they won't honour their current catalogue? :(

did you try to price-match with it at an apple store?

        • yup brought air from the apple store for 1118

  • EDIT: didn't read properly/

  • Any Macbook air comes with i7?

    • Any reason why you'd want it? Unless you're multitasking and using programs that require multiple threads, you won't see much of a difference.

      • I'm always running large calculating spreadsheets. I need it as many core as possible. Even, It's a lot different between i7-MQ & i7-U.
I may ask them how much to fit a i7-4900MQ….

    • Yes there are i7 models in both 11" and 13", but they're considered BTO (build to order) and usually excluded from sales, and they're not normally found in stores (aside from Apple itself).

    • I find that even with photo/video editing and safari opened with a music video playing on youtube, the MBA handles it pretty well w/ no lag.

      • Found the same using Photoshop; was playing around with a 4 image stitched panorama with a few layers on the 11" i5 with 4GB RAM and it was perfectly responsive, and was fairly quick even when doing large content aware fills.

    This is fair price

  • Thanks a lot OP! I've been waiting for a deal like this :)

  • Thanks, got it from dse for 1099

    • Which DSE store did it for $1099? I tried my local DSE and they wouldn't match it, let alone beat it.

      • Got it from DSE @ Nunawading. Showed them price @ Good guys and asked them to beat it

        • Any chance of uploading your receipt?
