    One of our children has a melamine cartoon character plate. It says on the bottom not to microwave - which of course I did one day. The surface bubbled and peeled off. I expect it's probably the same for all melamine.

    That's what I did with the 24 set photo frame. It saying out of stock but I press buy now it allows me to add to cart and the order goes through. Hopefully they honor it :)
