That's my point. The design of the new one is very sleek and cool, but so is this one.
The 2GB unit is just $11 more (at $50) and has a better price/value.
How much does the price compare with equivalent non-ipaq small mp3 players?
Cheapy mp3 players have rubbish sound. I bought an Olin 1GB SD card MP3 player a fair while ago for $50 but the sound was absolutely poo. It was all muddy with no bass.
iPods have nice sound.

"Olin"? Why even bother with no name brands. You could have gotten yourself a Samsung Pebble 1Gb for that price and those have terrific sound quality.
Don't discredit non-Apple players simply because of your poor knowledge of other brands.

But seriously, this is the one to get not that overpriced POC they released this week that lock you into using those GODAWFUL aple earbuds that I just threw out a pile of unused unopened ones recently.

I ordered one too. Just for the gym. My current 2nd gen nano isn't working anymore…when I plug it into the computer, it just charges and doesn't get recognised so it doesn't have new music on it! Boo :(
DAMMIT. Out of stock. Mine stopped working after 3 days. Called the centre, and I'll probably just get a refund because they can't give me a replacement :(
