If you just got the $2.50 per month plan, that includes 200 free minutes to USA anyway. And after that each call to USA is untimed at only 8c.
It's ridiculous when it's only for the 4th of july, that ONE DAY. How many people could you call in a day who live in america?
Let's be generous and say you called 15 people, in one day, on the 4th of july. That's at most $0.08 x 15 , + $2.50 = $3.70
There's no real point topping up for this deal alone unless you were literally going to be talking for ridiculous unthinkable amounts of time with people in the US on the 4th of july, and then were also going to make use of the excess pennytel credit afterwards.

i dont get why people still pay for calls to the US .There are apps that allow you to call the US for free like ephone and icall
