Bit harsh, we are tied in to our suppliers RRP's, so if you compare us to say Glue store, General pants, or Platypus, our RRP's will be the same where we have the same product.
That's the reason why we are buying shoes online from overseas nowadays… Not that we prefer to do it this way, but price from local is crazily high most of the time. I think both local retailers and suppliers should really think twice with their pricing strategy before it is too late.
Get used to buying everything from overseas then.
Local businesses will fold without support.
Profit is necessary given the high cost of wages, rent etc

Meh, I don't know if any of the shoes is mad in Australia and the retail workers get ripped off anyway so don't think many people will be affected
HYPDEC is very expensive, I can get the same shoes delivered from US for much less.
The only decent deal I have seen from HYPE, is the Wolverine 1000 Mile for $320, but I think they have sold out of them now. And anyway, I got those as seconds from the US for $140.Rillera, sorry I didn't mean for my post to be harsh or offensive in any way. It was more directed at buyers.
Being something of a shoe collector, I know what the markup is on shoes here (Hype, Glue, GP, Platypus) and overseas. And that's the only point I'm making.
I think this is a great deal. A lot of the stuff Hype DC sell is exclusive to them so you'd expect to pay a premium on some items.
Just wish they'd bring back the Grey mesh Air Max 90 shoes.

not going to neg but full price on shoes here is about 200% of the price elsewhere. so, not really a deal. of course there are those who like buying from Hype.
