    I'm sort of interested in the HM5. Has anyone got them? Looking for try a non gaming headset when my current one expires, tossing up between the HM5 or the AD700 at the moment.

      Both are monitor style, I have the HM5's but never listen to them. Not enough bass IMO.

      Depends what you like, what you listen to. Want my HM5's?

      Best cans for $60, Panasonic RP-THF600.

    I think the HM5s are excellent. Very neutral detailed sound. You can EQ/amp as you like.

    I have the R1. Mic was falling apart the day I got them. I did get a quick response from mp4nation telling me to cut up the ones that I have and show it to them as proof then they'll send the replacement. Research tells me there's a high rate of RMA's on these. The sound is alright - just need to get the correct fit. Foam is best but not included in the pack. I like that I can loop the wires over my ears.
