Oh mannnn, just when I buy Hotline Miami cross-buy for PS3 and Vita. <_<

Oh well, this is a great deal, will stock up for some other good digital sales! Thanks OP.

  •

You can still get cheaper online. However, you'd only be saving a few dollars. I guess it's always better to support an Australian company instead.

    •

Where can tou get psn cheaper than this?

      •

Sorry, not sure about PSN cards. I should have specified that I was referring to Xbox live points.

  •

Everywhere seems to be sold out online for cheap points

  •

I'm only giving pos for 3/4 of this deal. NEG FOR THE REMAINING 1/4! ;)

  •

Can u put PSN cards towards PS+ subscription?

    •

      Yes

  •

    Do they ever expire?

    •

No, however I believe they may be getting phased out. I recall reading MS would exchange the points for a monetary equivalent when that happens.

      •

        Ooo maybe a good investment???

        •

the amount deposited in your Microsoft account will be of equal or greater marketplace value than your Microsoft Points

          http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/acco...

So there's a chance you'll get an increased value on your Microsoft account if you stock up on points before the conversion happens.

        •

The money that is deposited by Microsoft to replace your MS points expires in 12 months though.

        •

If you will use the credit anyway then yeah, probably not a bad idea to have a surplus now. Personally I prefer the money to be in the bank where I can use it for other things other than MS services, so I won't go too crazy stocking up.

  •

Xbox points now ship free online

    •

      Edited thanks

  •

Awesome. Although I just put $10 in my account yesterday… I guess I'll buy enough in anticipation of extending my PS+ subscription when the PS4 comes out.

    •

yeah, I'm gonna stock up, combined this deal with PS+ promotion.

      •

        whats the ps+ promotion?

        •

they had price cut or additional months offered for limited time last year, hopefully it will happen this year as well. combined it with 20% discount for PSN cards, great savings

  •

Not bad but for PS3 nothing can beat signing up with a US account and buy the cards digitally from Amazon. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony introduce some region checking with the PS4 so might be an idea to get that US (and perhaps UK) account soonish. US and EU have different sales so it's good to have both. We are in the EU region for the sales but of course prices are higher.

Perfect timing for upcoming The Last of Us DLC!

New episode of The Walking Dead game is coming out next week too. :)

  •

So i am hoping someone could point me in the direction of buying US PSN cards on the cheap!

Do yourself a favor and purchase a US PS+ account… Not only do you get free games but you get to buy Day 1 Digital Downloads for $60!!! (sometimes cheaper with PS+ discount)

    •

You get free games on AU PS+

And with the ever declining AU$ the US store is going to start to look less attractive

      •

If you like to buy your stuff digitally still no comparison….

there is about a $30 difference alot of the time.

What's the PSN promotion? Been waiting for them to bring out the 25% off subscription again, might be worth stocking up and renewing 3mth at a time until then.

  •

thanks, definitely going to buy a few xbox points & PSN cards, but I keep hoping that one day somebody will have eshop cards on special

  •

How often are PSN cards discounted in retailers like this? Will be picking up one or two myself for sure :)

    •

Pretty rare, 2-3 times a year.

    •

The last time I got discounted cards from Dick Smith was in December last year. So not that often. I think I'm gonna pick up 3x$50 PSN cards.
Then I'm going to wait until PS+ is discounted again. I'm currently subscribed until September so hopefully it'll happen around then or when the PS4 comes out.

  •

All the Xbox cards were gone at DSE Top Ryde, but still plenty of PSN cards

Good job that's what I was after anyway :)

  •

Can you pay for playstation plus with money on your psn account? So can i buy $70 worth in cards then use that to pay my subscription?

  •

If you Work Or know someone who works for woolworths group the staff cards still work, I got $80 ($50+$30) for $60

The guy behind the counter said they wouldnt work but said I can scan it anyway, To his surprise it deducted additional 5%..
