  • Maybe I'm too old (29) to see the style in these tees but there were no designs I could find there that I'd wear in public. Nice price but horrible designs. Maybe it's just me.

Out of curiosity if anyone buys one let me know the postage, if cheap enough I might get a few for around the house at least :)

+1 for the price, not my thing but still a good deal.

  • I bought several (including $10 and $15 ones) the last time they had $5 sale. Postage is ok, but i find the quality of their t-shirts appalling. The fabric is too thin for my liking and they get torn easily in the wash. I personally prefer REMO T-Shirts (still free for new members with referral links, minus postage) as their quality are way better than threadless.

    • any links?

    • I'm quite the opposite. I've ordered from both and haven't worn my Remo out in public as I found the fit just horrendous (too loose and fat).

This deal works out well if you order quite a few at the same time. I think the magic number is around six. Find someone to split with (or me if you're willing (; ) if you're not wanting as many. The AUD dollar may not may as worthwhile as what it has been in the past.

  • yeah the quality can be a bit frustrating, need to use a gentle wash on them.

i like the colours and designs though. Worth the USD$5 + postage if you get a few I reckon.

    • The $5 designs are way too loud IMHO, and the nicer ones are all in the higher price range. Well, each to their own taste I guess. :) But honestly, I wouldn't consider USD$5 cheap for the material you're getting. I can get better t-shirts at this price at my local "Australian Souvenir" shop.

  • oh, my girlfriend loves threadless.

i will definitely be getting a few for her

  • Just had a look at getting 5 shirts for $5USD each.. once you add in the currency conversion and postage they end up costing about $12 each. Not sure if it's worth it, can anyone confirm/deny the stuff about the quality? I agree that most of them are a bit loud but there are a few that are alright. Am at a loss of where to buy cheap, mildly fashionable, shirts though!

  • i've just ordered 7 - the $5 ones & a range of sizes too… i'll give some to mates or st vinnies if they don't fit.

    $50USD total delivered - so about $70AUD

i've never tried threadless before but i will let u know how i find them :)

  • Beware the quoted amount is USD,NOT AUD. and the cheapest delivery costs around 12 USD(depends on how many you buy)

It may not be a good idea to buy the non-branded clothes through the internet, as you are unable to assess the real quality until you receive the order.

  • In terms of price, it's fairly decent, nothing really appeals to me in this batch. I'd just like to say, thanks for being honest with your referral.

  • as per the quality of the tees:-

Threadless private label - lightweight cotton some people might equate that to "low quality". I for one like it; more form fitting and less "boxy"

American apparel - needs no explanation; longer than Threadless label so I soaked it in hot water and presto!

Overall I am quite pleased with my previous order (also my first) with Threadless during last year's $5 sale.

There are coupon codes floating around that give you $3 off your order.

  • great deal, thanks for sharing.
just bout 12 T's for me and my mates.

  • post the $3 off coupons. none seem to work for me!

  • threadless is great
you always get compliments on your shirt, and i find they fit beautifully (not too tight, not too baggy)

i've never had an issue with the quality either =)
