As a point of interest, these are on eBay, from The Good Guys, for this price plus two bucks postage! For two bucks I'm tempted to stay right here in my chair and not bother asking OW to pricematch! :-)

I'd appreciate comments on how these are, comfort-wise… scampy? anyone else who has them?

I have found them really good but my experience with headphones is quite limited to be honest. I have been using them while on the exercise bike to listen to TV as we have a baby. They are really stable and don't bother me at all. I found the audio quality to be quite good although there is a little static now and then but that does not really bother me.

while on the exercise bike to listen to TV as we have a baby.

That's quite a workout! Doesn't your partner get tired? ;)

        • must be quite the balancing act there too.

      • "while on the exercise bike to listen to TV as we have a baby"

haha so u get to watch tv and go for a spin while your other half has to deal with the crying baby (which u drown out with your headphones). Nice one!

LOL! Nah, don't want the TV waking the baby up, thats all.

      • What material are the ear cups? Cloth or that synthetic leather? I'm after a good pair of these with cloth ear cups/pads. Thanks in advance

        • Cloth

        • Thanks for that, might go try a pair of these on, even though they are on ear.

  • Happy 800 buddy.

    800 posts - Legend.

  • Is this over-ear or on-ear?

    • They are on-ear.

I would have bought them if they were over the ear. I need the isolation you get from over the ear.

I'm taking a punt at these.
        http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-RP-WF950EB-S-Wireless-Head…

They are over the ear and also closed can headphones so isolation should be good.
I listen to internet radio (overseas and in OZ) and I needed a wireless headphone set with a range of at least 50 meters.

Came to just over AU$111 delivered. I couldn't find them here.
I looked at the wireless AKG K912 but they had too many negative reviews.

  • Is it worth the $$ to upgrade to the RS 160/170/180's for TV viewing? I've heard mixed reports about the 110 and 120's.

I've had these for over a year now and they are decent.

I do find that even direct line of sight 3-4mtrs away there is sometimes static and interference.

Sound quality when they are talking properly is quite good and they are actually rather comfy.

I'm no audiophile or guru so just my 2c
