EB Games are about to launch a 2 for $50 promotion. Look out in-store for 2 for $50 stickers on games and accessories. EB Games webmail subscribers have been sent an email with early access to the promotion, so not sure when it will be launched for everyone on their site (or whether the stores have put on the stickers yet). Anyway, the pre-owned wireless controllers for xbox 360 and the new (ie not pre-owned) 'Play & Charge Kit' are part of the deal - can also get $7 cashback for the Play & Charge Kit as part of this deal.

    Imo it's silly to buy preowned considering using the cashback offer you can get them new for nearly the same price from JB…

      I think there's quite a price difference. From JB: New Controller($64 - $16 cashback) and Play & Charge Kit (guessing $30 - $7 cashback) = $71. This deal it comes to $43 with the pre-owned controller. The pre-owned controller comes with a 12 month warranty as well. Anyway I think it's an option worth considering if you're after an extra controller - obviously not for everyone though.

    I checked out my local EB today and they didn't have any pre-owned wireless controllers in stock. Not sure if the guy was telling the truth but apparently they're not very common to have in stock.

      It's not common to have many pre-owned remotes at EB.

      Best to check on the site first.
